About My Art
My art generally runs in series, influenced by the urban environment, often expressing social concerns, or influenced by the aesthetics of the natural world and our relationship with it.
What is Media 4IR ?
My artworks available on this site have been created and developed through my Media 4IR print process. I had the idea of calling this particular process Media 4IR in 2021, during the pandemic. My students were writing essays on the social, political and technological impacts of AI, within the context of our current 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) era. I realised that my work process was similar to this era’s definition: the fusion between the physical and the digital.
My Media 4IR Process
I photograph one of my original physical artworks and then develop the image using digital software to create a new work: the fusion of the physical and the digital. This new work is then printed onto archival quality paper and worked further by hand.
